Early Years Bedtime story event -
On Wednesday 25th May, we had a delightful morning at our Nursery and Reception Bedtime story event. Children were able to come to school in their pyjamas and we were delighted to see many of their grown ups in their onesies, dressing gowns and pyjamas too!! In order to promote reading for pleasure and the importance of reading aloud to children, adults were able to read to their child using a selection of lovely books, use the puppets and story sacks to orally tell traditional tales and make bookmarks. Of course, a bedtime story event wouldn't be complete without biscuits and hot chocolate! Yum!
