Nursery 2026 Graduation

Nursery Graduation 2026 was an absolutely gorgeous event this morning! Many milestones and happy memories were shared alongside comments from Miss Thomas celebrating personal success as children 'signed out' from Nursery class. We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of them and can't thank our families enough for all their support this year. A huge thank you to our wonderful Nursery staff for everything they have done for the children and for putting so much heartfelt effort into the graduation event.

We have decided to allow children to be collected at 13:10 OR 15:15 Wednesday Thursday & Friday. It will only be these two collections times, nothing in between. Please inform classroom staff if are collecting early so staff can bring them to office to dismiss. If your child is in year 6 and you want them to leave early they MUST be collected. Swimming will be cancelled tomorrow.

Caterpillars & Butterflies Forge Mill Farm Trip

Caterpillars and Butterflies have had the best time at Forge Mill Farm. We put on our waterproofs and wellies, and we didn’t let the wet weather stop us. We fed all the animals in the barns; we had a walk around the paddock to see the other animals too. We hunted for minibeasts and searched for worms and counted how many we found. Huge Thankyou to Forge Mill farm who provided the subsidised trip and a big shout out to 4 Community Trust who very kindly donated a minibus and Driver to get us there and back. We…

Year 1 & 2 with Black Country Living Museum outreach project

Year 1 and 2 had a great morning during the Black Country Living Museum outreach project visit to school. Following on from our visit to them a couple of weeks ago, the follow up visit to school allowed children the opportunity to design and make a personalised banner out of fabric using a heat press to appliqué the different pieces of fabric. What fun we had!

Year 1 fruit salad
1st May 2026
Year 1 had a lovely afternoon making our fruit salad for the final outcome of our cooking unit in DT. We learnt all about food safety and how we have to prepare ourselves before handling food: washing hands, tying long hair back, rolling sleeves up and removing jewellery. We had to use the skills of chopping, slicing and peeling to make our fruit salad according to our design. We then went to eat our fruit salad in the sunshine! What a lovely way to end the week!
