Early Years Bedtime story event -
On Wednesday 29th June, we held our second Nursery and Reception Bedtime story event. Children were once again able to come to school in their pyjamas and we had another fabulous morning doing all sorts of reading related activities in order to promote reading for pleasure and the importance of a bedtime story. Using a wide selection of books, puppets and story sacks, children and their grown ups were able to orally re-tell stories, read and be read to, do mindfullness colouring activities based on tricky words and they treated to us a wonderful oral story tell of 'We're going on a bear hunt.' Of course, a bedtime story event wouldn't be complete at Annie Lennard without biscuits and squash! We thank you as always for your support. Happy reading!
