Parents were invited into Year 2's RE lesson this week to get a taste of what our lessons are like. This half term's focus was based around Christianity and the importance of Jesus' ressurection for Christians.
The lesson was looking at the second half of the Easter story which takes place after Jesus' crucifixion. We discussed how Jesus' ressurection showed Christians there was life after death in heaven.
For our activity, the children and their adults had to design an easter egg that shows new life. This is because, during the Easter celebrations, the Easter egg symbolise new life. They created some amazing pieces of work, showing lots of different ways that we can represent new life!
