Coronation Day Celebrations

CORONATION DAY 5th May

Children and staff will be able to come to school dressed in red, white and blue or as Kings and Queens for the day. Children can bring in a plate of food for themselves and the classes will have their own party. Class will be doing Coronation based activities during the day.

 

Coronation Art Challenge

Did you know that King Charles 111 is an Artist?

He enjoys painting using watercolours and has done so for nearly 50 years. His work has been included in many exhibitions, used on stamps and has even been used in other countries on ski passes. We are running a competition for all children to produce a piece of artwork to celebrate the Coronation. The piece of artwork can be either 2d or 3d but it must be able to be easily mounted on the wall. There will prizes to win, we can’t wait to see what you all produce.
