Dear Parents
Thank you to you all for continuing to support your children’s learning at home. We know it is not easy and that’s it is very stressful trying to juggle your work with your children’s, or sharing devices between siblings or just getting them to want to do their work so well done you are all amazing and doing a fantastic job.
The table below shows the attendance and engagement for each group over the last 3 weeks. I’m pleased to say that engagement overall is going up, however we are concerned about the amount of work that is being sent back to us. There is a big difference in numbers when comparing attendance of live lessons and those who are handing in their work. We can see that children are viewing and downloading the work. We would love to see your hard work so please send it back to us so that the teachers can mark it and give feedback. Remember all lessons are recorded so if miss the live lesson you can watch it back at a time that suits you better.
Parents if I could ask a favour; can you please check that work that has been completed is handed in – especially in the older years where they are more independent. Year 6 last week saw a significant drop in the amount of work that was handed in compared to how many viewed and taken part in the lessons.
