We have an exciting challenge for all the children in school!
We are going to be taking part in a sponsored read (sponsored listen – for Early Years).
All of the proceeds will go into buying exciting new books, magazines and other reading material for the library. Children will be able to access all these exciting books during their library visits and when they choose a book to take home.
It’s really easy to take part and whether you raise a £1 or £100, all the money will be used to support the children’s learning and love for reading.
This sponsored read will take place the week beginning 31st October 2022 and children need to see how many books, magazines and other materials they can read within the week. They will need to set themselves a total figure for how many things they will read that week and ask family and friends to sponsor them.
Could we kindly ask for all sponsorship money to come to the school office in an envelope with your child’s name on by Friday 11th November.
There will be exciting prizes for children who raise the most money.
