Strep A information
7th Dec 2022
Following on from our message yesterday regarding Strep A we will today be sending home two letters on behalf of UKHSA (Public Health). Please be reassured that Strep A (Scarlet Fever) remains common, however parents need to be aware of the signs & symptoms and seek medical advice if concerned or strep A is suspected.
Children should not attend school if displaying the symptoms of Strep A. UKHSA have advised that any open wounds should be covered & it is particularly important that if your child has chicken pox they must NOT return to school until ALL spots are fully scabbed.
