School Uniform

Reminder about school uniform - could you please ensure that your child attends school every day in their school uniform except for P.E. days. If there is going to be an own clothes days in school you will be informed via text message and the information will also be available on the school website. Thank you

 

Parental Conduct - Reminder

We have had some instances during recent weeks where parents have been verbally aggressive towards staff members, therefore sadly I feel it necessary to put out this reminder

 

Acts of Violence, Physical Aggression, Threats and Verbal Abuse including those made

through social media channels are unacceptable.

The School staff strive to treat visitors with due care, courtesy and respect. Our staff expect the public to show the same courtesy and respect.

 

Home Time

If someone different is going to be collecting your child/ children can you let the school office know before the end of the day please. We will not let your child go with anyone other than you or the person who normally collects them until we have had confirmation from parents.

 

 

World Book Day

Thank you for the effort you all put in yesterday for World Book Day. The children looked amazing in their costumes. We had an amazing day and we even had a visit from Baggie Bird who kindly gave some books to our librarians.

If your child is ill you must let the school know each day. If we do not have a reason for the absence we have to record it as an unauthorised absence. To let us know your child is going to be absent please ring the school number (0121 429 4284) and press 1 to leave a message alternatively you could leave a text message at the following number 07483 306818. Please ensure you include the child’s full name and what is wrong (e.g. vomiting, cough, cold, chicken pox), in some cases we may need contact you if we need more information.

Remember we will need to see proof of appointments in order to authorise those absences.

Lates are being closely monitored and a reason for lateness will be requested on arrival.
