World Book Day

Dear Parents

 

World Book Day this year falls on Thursday 4^th March, we have decided to celebrate world book day on Tuesday 9^th March 2021 instead, once all the children are back in school. We have a theatre company booked for this day and children in years 1 to 6 will watch the performance in their bubbles.

 

M and M Theatre company will be performing the Wizard of Oz, this will be a part digital and part in person performance, stringent measures are in place in terms of Covid-19 and the activity has ben fully risk assessed. (there is only one member of the cast on site – the other performers are at another venue)

In normal World Book day tradition children can come to school in fancy dress, own clothes or in their school uniform if they wish. They can also bring with them their favourite book too.

 

On this day children will receive £1.00 book voucher
