  • Rocksteady Music

         We were delighted to welcome Tommy from Rocksteady on Wednesday! He entertained the children with performances of popular songs and introduced them to a variety of rock instruments, including the electric guitar, electric drums, and keyboards. Pupils across both KS1 and KS2 had the exciting opportunity to form their own bands during a fun-filled workshop.   • Poppy Appeal

    During this week we will be selling these items to raise money for the Poppy appeal organised by the British Legion charity to raise money for veterans, active service personnel and their families. If your child would like to purchase anything please give them the money so they can buy them when school council members visit their class.   • Symphony Hall Music Performance

    On Sunday, our Year 3 and 4 children took part in the SIPS Music event at Symphony Hall, where they proudly showcased the songs they’ve been learning in their music lessons. In addition to singing, they impressed the audience by performing on their P-Bones and trumpets. We are incredibly proud of their fantastic performance!   • Playground Project

    Thank you for the donations we have received so far to help us upgrade the school playground. So far, we have spent money raised on buying a speaker our new entertainment/ performance area, a stage backdrop and some parasols and bases to provide extra shade in the sunny weather.   If you would like to donate to this fund it is called playground project on parent pay.         We have great plans for the playground which will be done in phases over the rest of this year.   • Bike ability sessions for year 5 & 6 - children DO NOT have to know how to ride.

    We are excited to be working with BikeRight to offerBikeability Learn to Ride cycle training sessions in school on Wednesday 11.6.25. The training will take place at school during the school day. Your child does NOT need to know how to ride a bike to take part. Children who can bring in their own bikes and helmets are encouraged to do so, provided they are the right size and in a roadworthy condition.
