Smethwick Food Bank Details Foodbank opening times are 1-3pm Tuesday Wednesday and Friday at Holy Trinity Church. No one will be admitted to the Foodbank outside of these times. Visitors to Foodbank must wash their hands on entering and leaving the building. If clients have any symptoms – persistent cough, shortness of breath, high temperature – or have been out of the UK in the last 14 days, they MUST NOT attend Foodbank. Dear Parent/Carer, Our school has been given the opportunity to take part in a project that will run jointly between Education and West Midlands Police. Operation Encompass is a police and Education safeguarding partnership that supports children and young people exposed to Domestic Abuse. It aims to ensure Schools are notified in a timely manner of any Domestic Abuse incident where a child was either present or registered at the address. Tuesday 26th February 2019 Dear Parents and carers It has been brought to our attention today that children in school are discussing something called MOMO or the MOMO challenge. After researching this, I have discovered that Momo is a creepy looking doll figure with bulging eyes and a creepy grin. It is targeting children on social media using apps such as WHATSAPP. The doll encourages them to add a contact on messaging service WhatsApp, and then hounds them with violent images and dares. It encourages them to self-harm and the ultimate post tells them to take their own lives.…

SCHOOL CLOSURE UPDATE 24TH JANUARY 2019

School Closure update Firstly, can I thank you all for your well wishes, support and understanding during this unfortunate incident. The water has caused considerable damage and has left 4 classrooms out of action. Yesterday I managed to secure 4 classrooms at other schools so we can relocate the pupils as a temporary measure so no more teaching time is lost.
