      Jayah in Year 6 for her non-chronological report about the Holocaust, written in History.                             The Holocaust is the name given to the genocide of Jewish people.  The word genocide is made up of the Greek prefix 'genos', which means tribe or race.  The Holocaust began in April 1933 and ended in 1945.  In 1937, Adolf Hitler passed Arganisation policies, meaning Jewish people had to give up their businesses.                                  …

    Friday 3rd February 2023 Young Voices                      Last Friday year 3, 4 and the choir travelled to the Genting arena to perform with 6000 other children from schools across the midlands as the young voices choir. We had an amazing time as always, during the afternoon rehearsals we recorded the chorus for a charity single which will be out later in the month raising money for ‘Place to Be’.     Friday 20th January 2023     Frank Chapman Residential Trip 2nd May – 5th May 2023 for year 3, 4 and 5 Unfortunately, we did not have enough children sign up for this trip so we have cancelled it for this academic year. All parents who had paid should have received a refund via parent pay. The trip has been rearranged for 24th – 26th April 2024 (next academic Year) this trip will be open to years 3, 4 5 and 6.
